She completed MBBS from Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi in 1976 and Postgraduation from Dayanand Medical College & Hospital Ludhiana, Punjab in 1986. She is the founder President of ISAR Chandigarh and has been the Past District Chairman of Inner Wheel dist 308, Past President of FPAI and ASHI, Member of COGS, IMA and IFS.
